that is to be included in the next Boolarra Link is to be sent to email address: editor@boolarralink.org.au. This email address will ensure that all articles and photos will arrive straight to the Editors computer for inclusion in the next edition. Your assistance with this request will greatly reduce double handling of content.
Deadline
for copy for the nextissue will be published on our Website and facebook page, we have further a mailing list, from where we sent reminder emails about two weeks before each Deadline.
We ask that you please not leave it to the last day to send articles etc, as the earlier you send them the more time we have to prepare our next edition.
Text
is best submitted as a Word document, with little formatting – the simpler the better.
Article Author
remember to include name and Posission of the author with your article plus any other contact details such as web sites, email and/or phone numbers etc you wish to include.
Timing
Keep in mind that the lag-time between submitting articles and printing is a couple of weeks, so please try to word your article to accommodate this time lapse. Please be aware that all articles may be subject to editing.
Photos
and/or other images are always welcome. Please always include who, what, where, when details for each photo.
Please note that the best file types to use are JPG and PNG.
Image resolution recommended is 300dpi.
The editors
reserve the right to make any and all decisions and editorial changes on newspaper content (with final decisions belonging to the editor). Story tips from the community are welcome, but coverage is not guaranteed. The Boolarra Link committee reserves the right to define article parameters based off of timeliness, relevance and significance.
